News Attends the 2016 NFDA Conference

Our very own Damian and Maria at the 2016 NFDA ConferenceThe team was excited to attend the 2016 National Funeral Directors Association (NFDA) expo in Philadelphia, PA, held at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. This international conference is the industry staple and included some of the most recognizable brands like Batesville, Matthews Aurora, Requiem, Bass-Mollett, FuneralOne and more.

In addition to the expo, and numerous vendors on hand, the event is a great industry networking opportunity for funeral directors throughout the country to come together and discuss the various ways to improve and personalize the memorial industry. The event featured a few additional, after-hours networking opportunities to further enhance the experience.

"It is very encouraging to hear at a national level that our customers are looking for ways to personalize and enhance funeral services." said Damian Ferek, president. " Our company was created to help not only families and friends have memorable funeral services for their loved ones, but also funeral homes and funeral directors to provide the most memorable service possible." representatives were on hand with long time client, and industry-partner Jenkin's Funeral Home, out of Morgantown, WV, for the show. Like many of his colleagues, Jared Jenkins, of Jenkins Funeral Home, is always looking for fresh and innovative ways to enhance the overall funeral experience. For them, CasketWraps are a way to help create a very personalized and memorable service for their customers.

One of the other major benefits to the 2016 NFDA conference was the exceptional list of seminars and speakers that went on throughout the week. These seminars covered every aspect of the industry from social media management, and industry personalization, to operating a family-owned business, financial and insurance regulations, and more.

Be sure to mark your calendars for the 2017 NFDA event that will be held Oct.29- Nov. 1 in Boston, Mass.
